Morning Prayer

For great is your love toward me;
    you have delivered me from the depths,
    from the realm of the dead. Psalm 86:13

Heavenly Father, may nothing separate us from You today. Teach us how to choose only Your way today so each step will lead us closer to You. Help us walk by the Word and not our feelings. Help us to keep our hearts pure and undivided. Protect us from our own careless thoughts, words, and actions. Keep us from being distracted by our wants, our desires, our thoughts on how things should be. Help us to embrace what comes our way as an opportunity rather than a personal inconvenience.

And finally, help us to rest in the truth of Your word. You already see the ways we fall short and mess up. But right now, we consciously tuck Your whisper of absolute love for us into the deepest part of our hearts. We recognise Your love for us is not based on our performance. You love us warts and all. That’s amazing. But what’s most amazing is that the Saviour of the world would desire a few minutes with us this morning. Father, help us to forever remember what a gift it is to sit with You like this. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Daily Prayer – 19 June

Advertisements So do not be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord or of me his prisoner. Rather, join with me in suffering for the gospel, by the power of God. 9 He has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us inContinue reading →

Advertisements 2 My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. JohnContinue reading →

Heavenly Father, we come into Your presence now, the Almighty God. We repent, believing in You and trusting Your name, knowing you have saved us. Your will is save all Your people, over the whole world and that we all may repent and be redeemed. Grant us the thoughts of Your heart and wisdom so we may understand Your will. We are committed to You, the Holy, just, righteous, and merciful God. Grant that we Your children are led and guided by Your Spirit every day. Turn our hearts to You so that you can make us more as You want us to be, more Christ-like. Turn our hearts to You until Your goals of atonement and redemption are reached through the quiet working of Your almighty power. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Daily Prayer – 15 June

Advertisements In fact, this is love for God: to keep his commands. And his commands are not burdensome, for everyone born of God overcomes the world. Is This The End?

“Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see.” Hebrews 11:1 We have been hearing a lot about “the talk” these days. Is This The End?

The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show to his servants the things that must soon take place. He made it known by sending his angel to his servant John, who bore witness to the word of God and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, even to all that he saw. Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear, and who keep what is written in it, for the time is near. Revelation 1:1-3
