Prayer on Fire – Yahweh

Yahweh

Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name;
worship the Lord in the splendor of his holiness.

Psalm 29:2

Heavenly Father, you are set forth in splendour. You rule with majesty, holiness, and eternity at your side. You are stunning—radiant and glorious. Struck with awe, we can do nothing more than bow low and worship You.

We hear a symphony playing as nature sings Your song; the clashing of symbols as the waters break against the shore. The power of your voice shatters the mighty forests and echoes throughout the sky. It shakes the deserts yet speaks to us with tender care. Stars sparkle as they dance on the edge of Your fingertips, while the oceans reveal the depths of Your love.

You are the strength of storms, the roar of thunder, the flashes of lightning, and the rush of wind. Though Your eyes blaze with fire and tempt us to cower and hide, we cannot look away. Consuming us again with Holy passion, You draw us in. We fall down before You in awe and wonder. You strengthen us, and it is only by Your grace that I may stand before Someone so Holy. You kiss us with peace and call us Your children. You lift us up and call us Your friend. Thank you, Lord.

In Jesus Name, Amen.”

My Greatest Treasure – Prayer

I rejoice in following your statutes as one rejoices in great riches.
Psalm 119:14

Heavenly Father, There is so much power that comes from walking in your truth. Abiding in your Word is the path to wisdom and purity. It is the only way we know to steer through the labyrinth of life. The light that guides our steps and the voice that speaks louder than our fears. We are comforted l and kissed with freedom. The power in prayer of your Spirit upon our lips is the strongest weapon in our arsenal.

Never let us stray from your commandments. We will write them upon our hearts and meditate upon them even as we sleep. Counsel us with your precepts and keep us close to you, so that we won’t sin against you. Wonderful God, we praise you above all else! Teach us the power of your decrees and reveal the mysteries of your prophecies. Your words are our greatest treasure and following them is life’s greatest delight.

In Jesus Name, Amen.”

Imminent

I lift up my eyes to you, to you who sit enthroned in heaven.
Psalm 123:1

Advertisements

Heavenly Father, you are enthroned upon my heart. I’m consumed with desire—a longing to touch what is unseen, yet real. So incredibly real. You are the profound truth that guides me and purifies my motives. You absorb my failings and grant me unending mercy. You are love. When you speak, my heart comes alive. When you whisper, my soul finds peace. You are the breath that pushes me forward and the grace I discover each day.

There’s a fire burning deep within, ignited by your touch. I want to know you. To honor you. To please you with a life of unrelenting devotion. I want to discover the secrets that you’ve hidden for me to find. I want to be pure in heart. I want to see you. This beating in my chest tells me it’s not too late. You are imminent. You are near. I love you Lord! Teach me to live one day at a time,

enjoying one moment at a time,
accepting hardship as a pathway to peace,
taking, as Jesus did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it, trusting that You will make all things right, if I surrender to Your will, so that I may be happy in this life, and supremely happy with You forever in the next.

In Jesus Name, Amen.”
