Heavenly Father, There is so much power that comes from walking in your truth. Abiding in your Word is the path to wisdom and purity. It is the only way we know to steer through the labyrinth of life. The light that guides our steps and the voice that speaks louder than our fears. We are comforted l and kissed with freedom. The power in prayer of your Spirit upon our lips is the strongest weapon in our arsenal.

Never let us stray from your commandments. We will write them upon our hearts and meditate upon them even as we sleep. Counsel us with your precepts and keep us close to you, so that we won’t sin against you. Wonderful God, we praise you above all else! Teach us the power of your decrees and reveal the mysteries of your prophecies. Your words are our greatest treasure and following them is life’s greatest delight.

Heavenly Father, you are enthroned upon my heart. I’m consumed with desire—a longing to touch what is unseen, yet real. So incredibly real. You are the profound truth that guides me and purifies my motives. You absorb my failings and grant me unending mercy. You are love. When you speak, my heart comes alive. When you whisper, my soul finds peace. You are the breath that pushes me forward and the grace I discover each day.

There’s a fire burning deep within, ignited by your touch. I want to know you. To honor you. To please you with a life of unrelenting devotion. I want to discover the secrets that you’ve hidden for me to find. I want to be pure in heart. I want to see you. This beating in my chest tells me it’s not too late. You are imminent. You are near. I love you Lord! Teach me to live one day at a time,

enjoying one moment at a time,
accepting hardship as a pathway to peace,
taking, as Jesus did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it, trusting that You will make all things right, if I surrender to Your will, so that I may be happy in this life, and supremely happy with You forever in the next.

Unconditional Love

Prayer

Heavenly Father, today we want to thank You for Your unconditional love. Nothing can separate us from Your love and yet many times we do not believe this truth from Your Word, the Bible. We struggle to feel and understand Your unconditional love because we don’t experience it anywhere else in our lives. Others will always let us down or disappoint us at one time or another. No earthly person, aside from You, Jesus, is able to love us perfectly and unconditionally. And sometimes we project our earthly relationships onto You.

No one like you

However, You are not like any of our other relationships. We can put our full trust in Your love and know that You will always be there for us and love us unconditionally, no matter what we do or what happens to us. 

Empower us to grasp how high and deep and wide is Your love for us. Your love is not just a generic love for the entire world, but is also a very personal love directed to us as well. You love us. Let us repeat that to allow that truth to sink into our minds, hearts and souls. You. Love. Us. And Your love knows no limits, bounds or conditions. Thank You, Lord, for Your unconditional love. In Jesus Name, Amen.”
